Maybe we can back down on the empire building and pay attention to domestic issues?

but but but the rich are to pay, not us, and do not even think of asking the poor to pay the fair share.

That’s just a “rounding error” from the GOP policies over the past 40 years.

Then we’d better start doing something to bolster the middle class!
    .
Since that will take money we’d better see where we’re going to get the money to pay for the advancement of the middle class.
    .
We can borrow money for 30 years at 3% per year interest and we pay off the principal with dollars that are worth less due to inflation. OH, but the Idiot class won’t raise the debt ceiling so we can grow the middle class with low rate borrowing.
    .
We can raise the taxes on everybody! But that’s one step back to make two steps forward. It’d work eventually but… OH the Idjit Class doesn’t want to raise taxes on anybody.
    .
We could raise the taxes on those that can afford it. But given the current situation we can’t raise them to the point where the monied class will see the wisdom of direct investment in the expansion of the middle class.
    .
We can cut spending! Austerity for all! Well, not for “all” those in the monied class won’t feel the pinch of austerity, they have incomes of multi millions of dollars per year and they have nest eggs of upwards of billions of dollars. Austerity means having only 7 important homes and only one family jet. But anyway! Austerity for the others… The middle and the lower class! Yeah! That’s the way we’ll grow the middle class in a consumer economy, the way we did it when we were an agrarian economy! Squeeze the middle, they’ll grow more food! Oh, over 70% of the nation lives in Urban and Suburban locales? So they can’t really grow more food?
    .
We have to grow the middle class! We have to remove the advantage to paper investment and return it to “Plant and Equipment” otherwise known as jobs. They don’t all have to be “Good Jobs” The creation of crap jobs creates the lower management, middle management, HR , back office and uper management jobs.
    .
Oh and we have to do something to drop the cost of medical care! Start at the middle and work UP instead of starting at the middle and pushing the cost increases down upon the workers!

A repeat, yet a perfect toon. Some obama voters are shocked that their taxes went up and their paychecks are smaller. I’m just amazed there are any of them that work at all.

“republicans are to blame for everything”

that’s less than 140 characters and ti sums up everything you ever post. Does the kool-aid limit one’s ability to count?
