Question for those with an intense interest in this:
If schools allowed nativity scenes but also allowed parents to come in and spend some time (1/2 hour? an hour?) with the students going over “This is Hannukah and why we celebrate it”, “This is Kwanzaa and what it means to us”, “This is Diwali and why we celebrate it”….. Would you still be calling it a “War on Christmas”?

I think the problem is more likely an insistence on rote memorization rather than critical thinking. In fact, new rules in (I believe) Texas specify that critical thinking is not to be emphasized. This is why we vote the way we do.
