    I believe this is not about a current event but the perceived inability of the President to do simple math. Because if you brake even between taxes and spending you don’t get any money. That, i think, is the “joke” contained in this cartoon…

    Please notice that I put the word “joke” in quotation marks… I should have added “supposed” as well. The man is doing what he can with the material (Congress…) he has available. Jon Stewart once said that President Obama is probably the first President to open every press-conference with a heavy sigh… I can’t blame him…
