    Sooky Rottweiler says;
    Finally, the democrats are growing some teeth.
    I could lend you mine, but I need them!

    I’ve had a low opinion of Pelosi since about a month after she became speaker. She didn’t have courage then and I doubt she has any now.

    I don’t know if this really applies, but I think of that old saying: “If a donkey flies don’t complain about how well or how far it flies, because it is amazing that it flew at all.”

    Any courage by the Democrats is to be applauded.

    Speaker Pelosi isn’t slow as slow goes . She’s just making sure she gets the signal correct .

    Ever wonder why minimum wage raised every where accept Tonga ? 90% of all employment income is from StarKist tuna .

    Take a wild guess as to the holder of a HUGE block of that stock . If I typed the amount , you wouldn’t believe me . Just happens the Speaker added that amendment to exclude Tonga .

    Um… until now the R’s haven’t had a plan. Now at the 11th hour they magically have one. Wtf have they been doing for the last 8 months?

    Oh right… screaming lies and acting like children…. right, right.

    Not one republican vote necessary…but confidence in wacko Libs is in short supply, too.

    • A plan that doesn’t really do much of anything to fix our problems, either. No more people will be insured; it still allows insurance companies to turn people down for pre-conditions. The bill DOES have some merits, but I think those merits should just try to be tossed into the better bill. Opening up state lines, while a good idea, doesn’t automatically fix competition. You don’t tell a pack of wolves to “behave” around your chickens.

    Also the insurance-loophole for trust busting needs to go.
