   Dick Locher has the ability to create absurdities in his own mind. To suggest that Obama is all slogan and imply that McCain is dismayed because he can’t get a specific word in, is just absurd. The Change sign should also be over McCain’s head because he co-opted it. Here again, it is McCain that obfuscates constantly and shies away from any contact with the issues.

   There are numerous sources on the web and in print where Obama’s specifics are to be had IF you bother to look for them.

   That’s the problem - too many people are expecting to be spoon-fed information from a mass media that’s nothing but sound bites.

   Tooth Fairy pipedreams without funding sources is NOT specific.

   Socialism does NOT create wealth - Capitalism does - Socialism is a parasite on capitalism - and like all Parasites, it will kill the host. The best thing about an antiquated 19th century econ model is 150+ years of proven failures.

   It doesn’t work - it’s just greed & envy for the GULLABLE masses.

   I do like proposals on Obama’s petition, but I wish that he was proposing to invest in infrastructure (green energy, electric cars, schools, bridges, roads, sub-prime freeze/refinance) rather than taking-on Wall Street’s bad securities.
