I am glad I don’t have a cellphone, I don’t need, or want, to be that reachable.

Rock on Lil…the good ole days are still the best…talking to real people face to face, as well as less accidents on the roads…

I don’t miss the days of untangling the phone cord.

Speaking of texting… They had to use paper, and it took days to get to someone and days more to get a reply. “OMG!” “RLY!” “No way!” “Way!” “SRSLY?” “Yah!” would take weeks.

I love it! “Like hands free texting with your mouth.” Such an inversion.

Lil, probably remembers when a real live person (“Operator”) would ask, “Number, please.” and would plug in the connection to the number you requested, which was only 3 digits. Unless you wanted a long distance operator, then more people got involved.

I still have a shoebox of notes that my friends and I would pass to each other in class. It’s sad that my kids won’t have that fun. Just a bunch of short texts saying nothing. (feeling old)

I tell people that my phone is for me to make phone calls. Like when my wife sent me to the store just to get a jar of applesuace, pre cell. Did you know supermarkets have sections of applesauce eight feet by eight feet. I never knew there was that many differnct sizes and flavors of applesauce in my life.
