   There’s a lot of housecleaning to be done in the Church. The rumors were that the prospect was too much for the “pope emeritus” and a new guy with no baggage would have to be elevated to try to deal with it.

   Eric Ericson (late of CNN) tweeted that he is thrilled with the new pope because he is supposed to have turned dissidents over to the government to be tortured or killed. He may not be the man to perform the house cleaning the church needs
