Deep Cover’s unique style of provocative political satire has won it a loyal following. Using an unusual mini-movie storytelling format, recovering lawyer Tim Eagan punctures pompous personalities, deflates bloviators, and attempts to shine light where it is most needed. This outrageous strip appears in mainstream and alternative West Coast papers and has been described as "Tom the Dancing Bug meets Ted Rall."

Fun fact that I vetted myself. If US tax collections as a percentage of GDP were the same as the UK’s, then all levels of government would be fully funded and no cuts at all would be needed in anything. The US is at the bottom of tax rates for OECD countries, and the UK is nowhere near the top.

But the UK is not quite yet a government of the corporate entities, by the corporate entities and for the corporate entities.

Plus, the UK is in the midst of a multiyear austerity program that has them dumpng vital services in order to reduce the budget deficit.
Really, it is about time we just sucked it up and admitted that we are all slaves to the bankers.

One of the differences is the US spends 4.7% of GDP on the military, while the UK only spends 2.6%.

Make the kids pay for it, someone said that Democracy will destroy themselves when the populace votes in to many benefits for themselves. I am afraid that person might have been right.

A short concise, and accurate history of the bush presidency. Right on Tim.

Austerity when you are in a Depression is a sure way of killing the patient and brining about the Vampire of Fascism.

I’d like to stop any and all military subsidy including our own Empirical sized military.

Obama is continuing and adding to it. A recent drone kill of civilians in Yemen was done by the USA though Yemen tried to hide it by making it theirs.

Oh yeah, and give me two orders of that unfunded war. I love that stuff!

NO WAR-anymore! stop the war on the middle East,
stop the war on drugs, stop the war on the poor
and take back from those that steal a lot and more,
they don’t deserve to be kings.

A TEA Party person would never say the words in this ‘toon. He’d tell the waitress to cut off his credit, and make the bearded fellow cook his own food. Overspending is not a Conservative virtue.
