    1)The date would be 1935
    2)No one knows who said it but it wasn’t Sinclair Lewis.

    Read “It Couldn’t Happen Here” and " The Iron Heel." Both concern right wing Fascist causes taking over the USA. It almost happened for real in 1934. Just missed the USA becoming a member of the Axis. Our history would have been very different from today.
