Deep Cover’s unique style of provocative political satire has won it a loyal following. Using an unusual mini-movie storytelling format, recovering lawyer Tim Eagan punctures pompous personalities, deflates bloviators, and attempts to shine light where it is most needed. This outrageous strip appears in mainstream and alternative West Coast papers and has been described as "Tom the Dancing Bug meets Ted Rall."

Hey, we in America are used to giving assistance in one form or another to people who hate our guts.

This strip is sadly all too true. But the desire to help everyone in the world is not reason enough to get Americans killed and to spend billions in that worthless country, even if our economy weren’t in the pits. There has to be a benefit to America when we go to war.
What that benefit should be is what it started out as at the beginning of our invasion: to eliminate Afghanistan as a hidey-hole for those who wish to kill us. But then we should be consistent and do everything we can to topple the mullahs in Iran and the Wahabis in Saudi Arabia, the two main sources of the infection.
But that’s not likely with a life-long leftist who used to hang out with professional America-haters and who as President embraces our enemies and snubs our allies.
For example, Angela Merkel invited him to join the celebration of 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Obama ignored her invitation. Can you think of any other president of the last 50 years who would refuse to celebrate the end of the greatest danger to world freedom in history?
Remember JFK and “Ich bin ein Berliner”? Remember Reagan and “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall!”? What will we have to remember about Obama and HIS defense of American freedom? But freedom is of no value to leftists; it just gets in the way of their plans to run the world.

ps you have made some very good points. The Berlin Wall thing is because Obama is in a you dised me by not letting me speak before I was elected so why should I go there now.
The problem with this strip is it is to close to the truth to be considered satire.

We need to stop taking care of the world and start taking care of our own. We have homeless, hungry and jobless here in America and yet we give away tons of food and millions of dollars to people elsewhere.

rookie, why don’t they get a job? Always somebody hiring in America. I honestly have no sympathy for the hungry in America. A wise man once said if a man won’t work, neither should he eat.

pschearer “But that’s not likely with a life-long leftist who used to hang out with professional America-haters and who as President embraces our enemies and snubs our allies.”
How the heck can you even type this statement when both of the Ex-Pres Bush Sr and Jr were extremely close personal friends with the rulers of Saudi Arabia, Muhammed Awad bin Laden (Osama’s father) and Saddam Hussain. All three of these people have been the personal guest of the Bush’s at their Kennebunkport compound.
Why do you think all of Europe is so enamored with Pres Obama? It’s because everything he has done is the opposite of your statements. He has said that U.S. military cannot be the world policemen and has reached out to regimes all over the world. The opposite of the Republicans.

This will not end well. Remember Blackhawk Down.

I’m thinking this “comic” should be in the editorial cartoon category. There’s nothing humorous or comical about it.
