it’s ironic that the mobs who are accusing the president of being a nazi are using the same tactics as the brownshirt nazis used in the early thirties when the nazi party was not a majority, just more violent , aggressive and louder….and shouted down anyone who wanted to speak a different viewpoint….

    and very very scary

nighthawks - There will always be a lunatic fringe.
The problem is that today we have the internet, talk radio, twitter, and too many other venues for them to spread their nonsense.
Some of them are even foolish enough to post their paranoia on Gocomics.

The other problem is that CNN used to report news, Now it is just like FOX a bunch of talking heads either agreeing with the government or disagreeing just for the sake of doing either

We’ve come full circle. The “silent majority” has become the noisy minority.

It is so unscientific to imagine the earth as “dying” in the future. These people apparently have never been outside of a city. Hey, I live out in the country, and guess what, it’s quite pretty and healthy out here! And there’s plenty of space for more people to move, if they object to “dying” in the city.

Pardon me if I don’t take your word for something being “unscientific”, HabaneroBuck.

Future scenarios aside, there are some worthwhile things that can only be accomplished by all of us.

I live out in the country, too, and i really love it, but i can paint a very different picture of “stewardship”. I have several neighbors who burn their trash, including plastics, metals, etc. The smell is atrocious, not to think of the toxins being released. Then there are the fertilizers and pesticides, and the subsequent runoff into our lakes, streams, and drinking water. The Ag equipment runs 20 hours a day, where the typical car in the city may run 1 hour, so add their exhaust into the mix. Move out here? If you find room, it’ll be because a once productive but now in foreclosure family farm is being divided up into “5 acre estate lots” complete with McMansions which we locals can’t afford, and which totally skew the property values for the rest of us. No place is perfect, some are just better than others.

I’m just sayin’…there are deer crossing signs a mere eight miles outside of Boston MA. The trees are green, the water tables are high, and there hasn’t been any global warming to speak of in the decade of the 2000’s. Scare tactics to force everyone to cooperate with a total government takeover are, inevitably, unscientific.

The deer have become pests because we killed off their (other) predators. And the water tables aren’t high in the western 2/3 of the continental US. We’ll never see the abundant fish and animals that the first Europeans found here. We may or may not have reached a short-term equilibrium state in some areas, but it’s a poor shadow of the original richness that existed before we began our “stewardship”.

Obama wants the government to run a health care plan that would abort the unborn and euthanize the elderly.
Obama is an extremely evil man (perhaps he is the Anti-Christ), is not a native-born American and therefore should be impeached.
