Deep Cover’s unique style of provocative political satire has won it a loyal following. Using an unusual mini-movie storytelling format, recovering lawyer Tim Eagan punctures pompous personalities, deflates bloviators, and attempts to shine light where it is most needed. This outrageous strip appears in mainstream and alternative West Coast papers and has been described as "Tom the Dancing Bug meets Ted Rall."

The GOP is doomed as long as it caters to the Palins, Jindals, Huckabees, and others who think Adam and Eve rode around on dinosaurs.
The Republican’s only hope is to become secular again, as in pre-Reagan days, and return to their former goals of limited government, fiscal responsibility, strong defense, and property rights. Then they’ll be able to differentiate themselves from the Dems which they have been Me-Too-ing for decades.

pschearer - I couldn’t agree more. Not all that long ago I would have identified myself as a Republican. I found that I didn’t identify with Republicans as the party stands today.
I would have to say I am a moderate. I lean to the left on social issues and to the right economically. That is, I would, if the right behaved as you describe.

So stripper bases his opinions on how popular they are? And some people deny there’s an right-wing echo chamber out there.

Here is quote from Canada on socialized health care.
By the way in the USA their is free health clinics everywhere and medicad for the poor.
Your example shows how people don’t understand socialized medicine (I am not trying to disrespect you). You think you’ll still have a choice? Let me enlighten you.
In Canada, this is the situation:
Mr. Poor Man comes back in 18 months,
Mr. Rich Man comes back in 18 months,
Mr. Middle class comes back in 18 months,
etc. etc. etc, come back in 18 months!
With socialized health care, the problem is solved by giving EVERYONE crappy care. Anytime we try to find something better on our own, everyone screams about how that’s not fair.

I’m sure that the poor (and everyone else) try to avoid the “medicad”.
Did I miss something, or is striper/stripper talking to himself?

Yes, let’s go back to pre-Reagan days, when Crook Richard Nixon was in charge, and Republicans only stole elections, not ruined the entire world economy! Always been a bad gang of thieving fat cat bigots and ignorant bimbos looking to take us back to the middle ages. Let them die, and maybe the Green party can be our new second party. Reagan was the beginning of the end for the American middle class.

Randy B,
You mentioned the poor and everyone else attempts to away from Medicaid. What do you think the universal health care system is going to be?
It is going to be similar or an exact copy of it. I have always heard of the universal health care system being bad in other countries from various reports.
I am now hearing from actual citizens from the countries stating their complaints against it. You also hear of people coming from Great Britain to the US for medical treatment.
cabrobst
You were mentioning early presidents before my time and you appear to be a liberal democrat (There is no such thing as a conservative democrat). Here is a quote from one of your own.
Do not ask what your country can do for you.
Ask what you can do for your country.
The Obama interpretation.
Do not ask what you can do for you country.
Ask what your country can do for you.

I am not trying to be hateful. I just view the current situations, then review the history, look at what the real agenda is and make a decision. I been called a realists. The definition is a person who tends to view or represent things as they really are. From my views and assumptions from most of the remarks on this site and the last election is most people run of emotions. Similar to what women run off. (I am not trying to disrespect women for I have been married for 20 years and have children). Most people do not even look at the end result of their actions. As far as the election goes people trade off what is right and wrong for a false pretense that they are going to get what they want. I have worked full time since I was 15. I have never missed a pay day. But I have at least another 30 years of work before the so called retirement age at 65. Is Social Security going to be their? No. Can you imagine when it was first brought on. Of course this was before my time, but from memory I think it was to assist your existing retirement plan and for the farmers. Not to live off. It was original at 1%. Now it is 7 1/2% and your employee matches 7 1/2 %. We also pay Medicaid 2 1/2 % and I think the employee matches it also. You can look at taxes in general, property taxes, gas taxes, sales taxes etc. Everything is always going up and the spending is out of control. Our national debt is at 10 trillion dollars under the Obama administration. Our country may never recover from this. Where did all his stimulus money go ( 7 trillion)? Most to pork barrel spending and liberal causes. Their was a few partially good things. Why did we spend any monies on pork barrel spending and liberal causes? The money is not going to do nothing for the future of the country or the recession (5 trillion dollars). Do you even know how much money one trillion dollars is?
There is a guy whom I work with and he states the number one rule in life is people are stupid. If this is true you can add #2 greedy, # 3 lazy and # 4 looking out for themselves.
Back to the election you look at the results, it had over half the people voted for Obama. In all actually with the cheating from Acorn, NAACP, democratic part, black panthers etc. It was about a 50 /50 split. That does not matter at this point. I believe that about 1/2 of the people that voted for Obama is really for the whole gay agenda, higher taxes, abortion, bestiality, child molester, terrorist, Muslim, anti American agenda that Obama is for. Why did the others half vote for him? Either they did not know, to lazy or wanting a false pretense that the government was going to take care of them. (Go back to the rules of life).
I do not want to bore you, but the road we are on is total destruction of the country.

striper/stripper, I was making a joke from your mis-spelling. “Medicad”: a health care provider with low vulgar morals who treats women badly (“medic” + “cad”). Someone we all would try to avoid.
And yes, you are boring us. Make up something brief and interesting.

What is “the other team”?
I don’t advocate the things that striper77 attributes to “liberals”, but I don’t think that his fearful imaginings have anything to do with the real world.

Randy_B - My guess is that striper77 lost touch with reality long ago.
So nice of them to share their dementia with us though, isn’t it?

Randy B,
I do not know what bubble you are living in, but everything I have stated is going on right now. I have seen all of this first hand in the military, working for the Sheriffs department, volunteering and working in the extreme poverty areas.

Your fascination with perversion is disturbing.
striper77 said, 5 months ago
Randy B,
There is no fascination with perversion. I find this information gross, unnatural and perverted. You may finally be protected by the federal government. The reason I gave the comments is to make you liberals aware what is going on with your lord and savior Obama and I have received a lot of comments from people such as yourself stating Obama and the democrats are not for the child molesters and bestiality. I gave the proof with the last comment. Obama is for other disturbing items as well. I did not even see that coming. Obama is bringing change alright. Change to bring this country straight down. As stated what do you expect from a Muslim president that was the most liberal senator in congress. Furthermore he attended an anti-American, racial church for 20 years
