   This is the first time I’ve seen “BHO”. Much better than the “BO” I recently saw in some news magazine . When I was a kid there were radio ads for some brand of bath soap in which a deep voice sounded “BO” in imitation of a foghorn. It meant “body odor”.

   I don’t see Obama”s attitude as pro-abortion, but pro-choice. There is a difference. I am anti-abortion, but pro-choice!

   Good point JDG, I’m glad that I’m not the only one that understands the distinction.
   No rational person is ‘pro-abortion’. That would imply that they thought they were a good thing and that woman ought to have them.
   I don’t know a single person who believes that, I do know a good many who believe as you and I do. I wish that no woman ever had an abortion, yet it should still be a legal and safe choice.

   By the way, AL154, just what did this cartoon have to do with abortion in the first place. I don’t see it referenced in any way. Were you just superimposing something from your own political agenda upon it?

   Al 154, Obama is not saying everyone should get abortions, hes saying that teens, victims of rape, the poor, people who are unsuited for parenthood CAN get abortions. Bush said if a girl got pregnant, the kid gets to deal with the circumstances.

    Well put JDG, Drtoon and geekologist. I remember Why it was legalized! I don’t like it either and I also don’t like unwanted children being mistreated and killed by their mothers and/or ‘boyfriends.

    Taking responsibility for your actions would sure reduce a lot of legislation, in many areas of our society!!

    I showed a high school class clips of Kennedy speeches just before the election, and one of the things they commented on was that his speeches on the things that he intended to do in his admin. were some of the same things BO intends to do. I guess, they said, that means that Kennedy didn’t get them all done… I said, That is an astute observation… If you think the government can fix it everything, you are a liberal. If you think they will pretend to do it with your money, you are a conservative.
