Hmmm, are they headed for a “Wiley Coyote moment”?

Now only 21% of Americans identify themselves as Republican…how uncrowded do they want it?

Anthony2816, it’s only due to the press that the GOP is not getting it’s message to the American people ( it can’t be the lousy leadership or lame political philosophy! ).

Puppy tent Repubs should move their tent a little to their right ….

GOOD GRIEF, if the GOP moves any more to the right they might as well be wearing brown shirts!

Let’s see what happens next election.

Next election?
Lessee…
You’ve got Michelle Bachmann spouting talk about ‘re-education camps’, the RNC chair facing a revolt on party funding, you threw a tea-party that nobody is talking about, you had Rick Perry talking secession and John Boehner putting out an ‘alternate budget’ that was nothing but a rehash of Bush-o-nomics, the Republican governors who refused stimulus package funds are all changing their minds, everyone in the GOP is kowtowing to Rush Limbaugh, and the most visible face you have right now is Dick Cheney.
And you’re going to take back the Congress HOW exactly?
Not to say that circumstances can’t change, but if the midterm elections were held right NOW, the GOP would take the Bible Belt and be lucky to get that much

DH, if they moved the puppy tent farther to THEIR right, they’d be splat

BCS, I’m going to go out on a ledge here and say that that was Horsey’s intent. With Specter walking off to the left and there not being much room left on the right.

If the GOP is to have a hope for survival and relevance, it’ll have the shed the likes of Rush and Stewie. Otherwise, it’ll bleed to death or splinter. But I have a hope that more rational minds will prevail in time.

I’d have agreed with you up until a few days ago, cdward, but now I think that would be not unlike trying to ‘shed’ a tumor.

It’s become a tiny, little tent. It took awhile for the Dixiecrats to destroy the Republican party but it looks like they are very close.
