I’ve been wondering how mindless Bush-bots like Pup would respond to the utter devastation wreaked upon our nation by eight years of Bush.
Now we see it.
Utter denial.
Same ability Pup uses to apologize for his religion.

Humphries, Humphries. KK is your guy. I don’t see him being frog-marched out into a paddy wagon and trundled off to prison. No I see Charles Shukster Schumer tipping over a bank run , I see the DEM Congress bailing out Wall Street without so much as an exploratory committee - why? Because that’s where their money is. But, UAW - fend for yourself. “But we just put your guy into office. (Whine).” Suck it up proletariat, things are so god-awful bad because you dared to vote Pubican twice you should be happy with what you get.
And you Humphries - why are you over in Europe. Probalby so you can stuff away all those checks you make free and clear with all those “0”s in them…

How many families could still be in a home if this kind of injustice was stopped.

puppy, you post like an ignorant child. My resources are limited but I evaluated, made my choices, stayed with-in my means and spent accordingly. Your excuse?

Soorrrrrryy! I thought you didn’t mind a little braggadocio and harmless banter. Most here seem a bit uptight and full of themselves…not-funny-at-all! you know - like their lives depended on them being right all the time. Bye, I have to be somewhere.

what weird comments coming from the puppy. Are you drunk pup? They simply draw the opposite conclusion than reality and logic would dictate.

foxy, my logic is simple: for one to find another at fault one has to prove wrong-doing. I give the Libs this for argument ‘s sake. Next, we have to show evidence of a different approach to problem-solving by the persons in charge in order to show the probability that an argument to the contrary has an actual basis in fact. Congressional Dems have called the shots since 2006 and now they have majorities in both houses and the bully-pulpit since Bush is now lame-duck. Dems could have delayed bail-out and corporate loans action and even ask now for investigations. But things have not changed and they will not change because we are being fed a new line of BS. Bumblephries and others annoint the Libs with Holy oil but I’ve yet to see proof of their virtue.

I take the morning off to go to church and come back to this personal vitriol. Shame on all of you. CEO pay is a function of pre-employment negotiation with a board. Blame them.

“Congressional Dems have called the shots since 2006…” I wish they had. Virtually nothing can get through the Senate because the GOP threatens to filibuster everything that comes along, no matter what, if the Dems initiated it. When the Dems threatened to filibuster a few of Bush’s right-wing judicial choices, the GOP squawked like it was the end of the world: “Nuclear option!” Now they do the same thing every week, the media lets them slide by, and the Dems get the blame when nothing is being passed.

Kevin: I agree with you.
Oldlego: They could have said “Thanks, but no thanks…I didn’t really earn this.” A bunch of them outside the US have, having been shamed into it by popular disapproval. It seems as if only here do we say OK to these ripoff artists.

Correct me if I’m wrong please but the financial entities that were bailed out and are asking for bail-outs and loans would have gone into bankruptcy and the assets given to the creditors. I believe this would have let CEOs, etc. with a lot less to take home. But the players involved here all have alot to lose, you and me maybe not. Didn’t mean to get personal with Humphries (about his personal work facts) should have explained better that I thought he might have different opinion on excessive taxation if he worked stateside. It’s true I was out of line , If I could not make point another way I should have minded my own business and not been so stupid. Me and Humphries can handle it (I hope). Because Humphries is good man. But you other guys/gals all take this to serious. Have fun and good night.
P.S. Kevin Parker, as I have said once already get used to the excuses because you will be hearing alot more of them from the Dems.

NoFearPup. Taxes for me are like the dentist, d@mn sure ain’t enthusiasitc about it and am sometimes suspicous about the costs … but it’s necessary for good health. As for paying taxes I pay twice. Retirement is registered with both US and German governments, I will admit to taking “every” possible deduction, but It’s worth it , for many reasons you won’t understand because you haven’t been exposed to them. PS try 19% sales taxes and I won’t even try to cite the tax code, have an accountant who messes with that can of worms.
