    And I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING TOLD BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA ABOUT ANYTHING THAT I chose MY SEXUAL preference.
    I was BORN the person that I am. Maybe what’s wrong is that their RELIGIOUS PREFERENCE is mistaken. My soul is not broken and in no need of repair.

    The Right still wants to punish us for breaking ‘their’ moral beliefs. I say if YOU are against something and don’t want to do it, DON’T DO IT, just keep out of MY life and don’t make laws that make me a criminal for what your idea of ‘morals’ should be.

    Sorry Curiousity, but as someone with a more intimate knowledge of the gay lifestyle than most folks, I disagree completely. It is a choice. There is a whole lot of psychology behind our choices, so much so that sometimes what we choose feels like the way we were made. Many events in our lives make us what we are and what we choose to be.

    And you know something, we religious folks would probably be a lot easier to get along with if you would stop pushing a “gay agenda” on us and our children. I’m willing to let you be gay if you are willing to let our children be straight and stop trying to indoctrinate them into the gay lifestyle.

    Common sense restraint that reflects the current moral attitudes would serve society better than religion-based ‘thou shall not’s.
    Our laws should not be based on moral behavior, but on any resultant activity that infringes on society. And yes DUI is such an infringement. Punishing people for laws of ancient morality is insane!!!!!

    1. People do not CHOOSE their sexual orientations any more than they choose to be left-handed at birth.


    2. People often CHOOSE to abort their unborn children and CHOOSE to kill off their elderly family members for the purpose of their own convenience, but, then, people also CHOOSE to commit armed robbery, and so one need not be a Puritan to object to someone else’s choices – especially when they so drastically affect another human being’s life.
