Should this come as a surprise?

“Should this come as a surprise?”
I like how you misunderstood the comic. It’s saying that Bush warned about the Fredie Mac/Fannie May problem and was ignored by the Democrats.
Of course that’s entirely true but now that I pointed out what the comics actually means you’re going to say it’s wrong.

I want all you Daily Kos clowns to stop ignoring what actually caused this problem. Watch this video.

“How’s New Orleans?”
How does that have anything to do with what happened? Oh, I guess according to the Liberals it’s that “Hurricane Machine-Maker” that Bush has and he pressed the button.

“I like how you misunderstood the comic. It’s saying that Bush warned about the Fredie (sic.) Mac/Fannie May problem and was ignored by the Democrats.”
It has been well publicized that your fan-fave Obama actually warned Wall Street of this impending crisis several months ago and the Bush administration did little about it. Of course, you will probably chalk this up as liberal media propaganda because it does not fit into your narrow world view.
And as for “Oh, I guess according to the Liberals it’s that “Hurricane Machine-Maker” that Bush has and he pressed the button.” Somebody has been living a sheltered life and does not know anybody whose life was not only affected by Katrina, but the three levels of government’s failure to respond afterward. There is a reason anti-FEMA t-shirts are popular in NOLA.

It has been well documented WHERE that Obama warned about Fannie/Freddie!? On his website? Do a friggin’ google search before you spew nonsense. In 2006 when the Republicans were warning about the impending danger, Obama actually was part of the OPPOSITION to reform. In, fact the Democrats saw no problem with those companies whatsoever and now Obama has advisors that worked for those failure companies in his campaign. You’re simply lying! Don’t give me that bullsh*t!
Funny how Obama got the second most donations from Fannie Mae isn’t it?

Since it was less than 2 weeks ago that Bush & McCain were saying that the economy was fundamentally sound, (and some 3 hours later McCain was crying “PANIC!”) I find GreatSatan’s comment disingenuous at best. I have been hearing many democrats (not just Obama) talking about the economic problems for a year or better (and THAT is the wolf–not just Fannie & Freddy) but it was certainly not in the republicans’ best interests to admit economic failure, and they were certainly not calling any attention to any troubles. Bush hasn’t got a clue until it hits him in the face.
And as for your comment about Obama getting the second most money from Fannie–well it was a 2-man race and he was considerably behind McCain in dollars she gave…

Hey TGS,
If I send you a dime would you send me a kilo of the weed you are on?
Funny how Obama got the second most donations from Fannie Mae isn’t it?
Send your sources for all of the postings, don’t just say things as if they were true.

Are you all done lying now? I love how you guys constantly ask me to prove with links what I’m saying yet NEVER do for yourselves. I’ve also noticed everytime I post links you guys either never respond or go off topic. I’m not letting you fools get away with it this time. Here’s PROOF of what I was saying:
Regarding Obama taking more donations from Fannie Mae:
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-trailmoney9-2008sep09,0,4818879.story
McCain, of course is nowhere near Obama’s total so he’s not first place to Obama’s second like you monkeys tried to say.
Regarding The REPUBLICANS warning about Freddie/Fannie AND more evidence that the Democrats were involved with them:
http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2008/07/top-senate-recipients-of-fanni.html
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ROOriYvJM4
Even better google the words:
“Obama warned about fannie” and watch in horror as all you get is hits for how MCCAIN actually did or how Obama now has advisors from Fannie Mae.
Ok you gaggle of liars, lets see you disprove ANYTHING I’ve linked you while at the same time giving me links instead of just empty words like you always do.
Or just do what you all normally do and just stop commenting and continue your lies on other comics.

It always seems to come down to which numbers you look at.
2008 campaigns, directors, officers and lobbyists have contributed to both campaigns. McCain got $169,000. Obama got $16,000 (and No, I did not leave off a zero)

TGS: read your refs. The fist contains your numbers but not in the conext you’re presenting. A scan of the remarks w/refs of the are not complimentary of Sen Obama but you ignored the critique of Sen McCains performance. One ref directly contridicts your third ref, which is little more than a campaign ad.The second ref is included in the first’s refs.
TheGreatSatan said, about 1 year ago
camisu the graph that you provided me with is a list of what McCain donators from Fannie Mae donated to McCain and Obama. That is not the company as a whole and is entirely misleading but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the NYT.
It is widely stated that Obama was one of the most donated to politician from Fannie Mae and you all know that so stop trying to lie. Accept it and move on.

Gee, I must be snoozin’, I thought the wolf reference was to GWB saying that the WMD’s would get us if we didn’t give him a blank check to go into Iraq and now his puppet Paulson is saying the economy will implode if we don’t give the Bushies another blank check. The Daily Show did a split screen comparison of the two speeches and the language was almost identical.

Just watched that video TGS, and Holy Crap! I hope a lot of people see that video before Nov 4th and see the corrupt left side of politics.
Barny Frank from his mouth, “Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are NOT in a crisis”. God helps us all.
