    Most Socialists I’ve known were not terribly social toward people, seeing them as things to be used, rather than people.

    What we learn from today’s strip is, if you like to sit and read, you’re just not social. We don’t end up with a very positive take on the joys of reading.

    And of course, any discussion that starts with the word ‘social’ these days seems to end up with a dissertation about ‘socialism’. The two aren’t the same at all, but since no one loves reading anymore, nobody notices….
