Behold, an un-pale horse with no name. Oh, wait. His name is Horace. And he's sarcastic. And silly. And lives in an infinitely expandable world. And sometimes gets slapstuck. And day after unpredictable day he boldly goes where no horse -- let alone a comic strip -- has gone before. Yes, there are sidekicks; a bird, a lady horse, a never-seen neighbor. And if the post-it note did not exist, Samson would have had to invent it so Horace would have yellow panels in which to play. Welcome to the bright side of the world. May the horse be with you.

It’s only 10,000 square miles, Horace. What’s the problem?
.
I’ve found it much easier to just do one room per day, 3 or 4 days a week. the job actually gets done that way. Keeps your arms in shape, too. (Beats me why the vacuum manufacturers thought it’d be a good idea to have vacuums that weigh 40 or 50 lbs. Thin aluminum skin would be much lighter than the dense plastic they use to cheapen them.)

It will be more efficient; I save up a whole month’s worth of dust before I vacuum.

For that…. you need a Shop VAC…. ! ! !

You’re gonna need a bigger bag, Horace.

Instead of Hoovering, maybe Horace should Roosevelt the house; it’s a good cure for depression.

Or is he outside a buried house?

I think he has waited too long as it is.

My horse would just lay down for a nice refreshing roll in the dirt.

That’s why I got ceramic tile thru the house and canned the carpet. It got cold a few days ago, so we dug a pair of area rugs out of the attic, and Yep! they needed vaccuuming.
Just because I got rid of the carpet, doesn’t mean I’ll throw away a perfectly good vaccuum!
We’ll keep the rugs down for about a month or so, and put them away when there are more 70’s degree days in a row than not.

Is this where I can find King Tut’s tomb?
