If a child is hungry let him get a job and feed himself?
Compassion is in short supply from the right.

“Teach a man in the middle of the desert with no fishing hole for several days walk to fish, and the ungrateful cur will feel hungry!”

My children have and never will be hungry a day in their lives… How are your children doing?

If you pollute streams so that no fish are there to be caught & then blame the poor sonofabitch for not catching fish while realizing huge profit$ for your$elf then Fox news will love you.

    .
Good for you and your children. Apparently you do not work for Wal-Mart or McDonald’s.
    .
Then again, if your children someday in the future find that their jobs have been outsourced and they are over 40, they may well have to settle for a burger-flipper job or a Wal-Mart greeter job and find themselves unable to support their own families or themselves.

What makes you think after I turned 40 that I did not change jobs three times due downsizing, plant shutdown, and mergers…
and yet I am still working… because I have marketable skills that are portable… I make an effort to stay current and learn new technologies… you still working for a shoe company up there in New Englandah or are you with a start up biotech company-ah yet…

I suspect that I am better educated and in better financial shape than you are, Gresch. I, however, understand that not everyone is as fortunate as I have been and have known some very bright and hardworking people who lost their jobs due to outsourcing and/or age discrimination, and were unable to find equivalent jobs in this recession.
    .
Consider getting off your high horse and noting that this is not 1980. Today there are people with advanced degrees working at Starbucks. They are the lucky ones. For many people today the choice is McBurger flipper, Wal-Mart greeter, or unemployment.

so which shift at Starbucks are you working Dr. PhD ?

Try stop being the back end of a high horse by telling people that someone owes them a living…

That last reply of yours makes no sense whatsoever.

Is that your best obtuse retort?

Ryan looks more like Dracula in every ‘thoughtful’ new incarnation.
