    And, as usual, the trolls have made their appearance, Mr. Wasserman’s excellent point having flown way above their heads. They just can’t admit that it’s the tea party obstructionists who have held this country hostage to rigid ideology and downgraded our credit. This from the people who keep bleating about “personal responsibility”.

    The “cliff” and “ceiling” are both Republican constructs. They pushed to hard, for a year, on the “cliff”, and may be smart enough to have learned their lesson by February? Nah.

    From January 2007 to December 2010, Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House, during this Time Frame, she did not pass one single Budget, she increased the Debt Ceiling.
