Too bad we all have to live with it and not just the ones that voted for him.

There’s a reason Tim Geithner bailed on O. It’s time to pay the piper.

Is that the fiscal cliff that the Republicans demanded?
    -
The first job for Obama is to make sure everyone knows this is something Republicans demanded.
    -
If we go over the cliff, Congress can then lower taxes from where they will be at that time. Unless, of course, republicans demand that wealthy taxpayers get huge cuts.

Boehner is right there beside Obama. Unless Boehner decides to grow a pair, and get enough sane Republicans to vote for a compromise that includes increased revenues from those best able to afford it, we’re going to have to take the leap.

A mandatory cut of $1.2 trillion in the $3.8 trillion Federal budget, or 32%. Oh wait, that’s over 10 years, so $120 billion, or 3%.

If it were really going to happen, defence contractors would have to lay people off on 2 Jan ‘13, and, by law, they’d have to send out layoff notices no later than 2 Nov ‘12, notices that did NOT go out.

So the lemmings have been unconditionally guaranteed that they’ll all be provided with parachutes.

If I were O, I think I’d take a couple of steps back from the edge, let my heart rate return to normal, and then figure out a route around the precipice.

The good news is you don’t have to bring in a new President up to speed on the fiscal cliff crisis. Boehner is now willing to raise revenues in addition to any cuts agreed to by the Democrats. I’m cautiously optimistic we can avoid the worst of any fallout from the fiscal crisis.

Perhaps the big “0” can get the press to help him since they worked so tirelessly to get him re-elected.

How about tax hikes on those dead beats who are fully loaded with money? The wealthy and their corporations. That is one reason the debt is at $16 trillion.

Where is Pres. Obama going to “bankrupt” coal? Just show us please?

He met with them before. They shoved back in his face. He’s got other duties. The House can meet with the Senate. But they won’t. So the fail goes to the Republicans from day one who said they would make him a “one term president.” How come you ignore all that in your rants? Can’t call a spade-a-spade if they are on your team?
