The spending IS ridiculous, on both sides, it’s time for some reform.

Remember, PAC-king is brought to you by the Republican Party whose judges have declared paid spending to be free speech and corporations to be people.

Fracking releases no toxins into the air.

Details, Howie. What in my post do you allege to be less than true, and why?

Sorry, but the Reeps have the market cornered on Billionaires. It is who they work for, after all.

While it’s undeniably true that much of what Obama and his nitwit, Biden, are saying is toxic, there is no proof to support the claim that fracking releases any appreciable amounts of toxins into the air!

The water they are polluting is more precious than that petroleum they are extracting.

Fracking must be absolutely safe, because if it isn’t then some corporations would be liable for a lot of damages. Our wonderful benevolent overlords always have our best interests at heart and would never expose us to danger just to make a quick buck.

    Right?

mdavis: wrong, many of the fracking fluids “proprietary” in nature, and therefore NOT required to tell what’s in them HAVE contaminated the air with benzene and other aromatics that are in the “blends”. These fluids have been used for a long time around the west in forcing gas, and liquid petroleum to the surface, and DO contaminate, soils, waters, AND the air.

BTW, not ALL “fracking” has been “bad”, when properly regulated in its use. The PROBLEM is that the companies don’t WANT anyone regulating them, or making them pay for their “errors”. Leaks and shoddy “workmanship” have been on the rise with DEregulation, and eliminating the budgets for regulators, THAT is the problem.

Hmm, changed the ’toon, but not the comments again. But, a friend has been “profiled” every time she flies, because of her “complexion”, and is much abused further because she has serious disabilities with regard to range of motion, and the nearly always “beat her up” with their wands, and demands she move in ways she can NOT! Ask John McCain about that “raise your arms” thing!
