Whackdoodle best let it go or her spouse’s real activities will be revealed.

Apparently the plot is thickening – the day she made the call, the NYT ran an article on her activities leading a Tea Partyish group which she started with two large, mysterious, unidentified contributions. Given the laws on 501(c)(4) groups, she doesn’t have to reveal the donors, as long as less than half of activities are political, which is doubtful considering the group is to “fight the tyranny of Obama.” The Times notes that this raises serious questions of judicial ethics for Justice Thomas. Perhaps she was just stressed out. Article here: http://tinyurl.com/382yyhp Oh, and there is plenty of evidence that Anita Hill is the one deserving of the apology: http://tinyurl.com/376hegq

I started out believing Saint Anita and in the end didn’t. But what did Mrs. T. think? That Saint Anita was going to come clean after all these years on the pedestal?

^Why, Philip? Read the second link I posted. In addition, Thomas’ former girlfriend – the one used as a reason why he couldn’t have hit on Anita Hill – has broken her silence to say that Thomas was indeed obsessed with porn (something he denied during his hearings) and openly discussed other womens’ breasts with her, including asking women for their size. This is not important in and of itself except that it supports the story that Thomas hit on hill, and asked her her breast size – and another woman has come forward to say he did the same to her.
Love the inconsistency of the GOP – if you’re going to go after Clinton, then you should go after Thomas.

I’m not GOP and these women I’ve never heard about

I’m not GOP. Susan H. and the other woman’s testimony were seriously compromised with some inconsistency and connections with Dem organizations. I have no idea about the credibility of people from his college days of 20 years before. I just found it hard to believe that she was so afraid of Thomas that she socialized with him for years.

There were a number of women ready to come forward with Hill, Specter wouldn’t let them testify- his worst moment in public life. Thomas was about the WORST person at EEOC, and many people said so. He’s the worst on the Court, but Roberts is going to work hard to replace him in that role.

Sorry, Philip, I combined two thoughts. I didn’t mean to imply you were Republican.

I hope Clarence’s wife keeps it up. I think it’s amazingly insane for a judge’s wife to make such declarations about the President. Will this begin a cycle where the other wives do the same to the conservatives? Could there be a girl fight in the cafeteria? These are the people we are supposed to think are sophisticated…then they act like Biker chicks.

So if Thomas gets impeached and removed, Obama may get to nominated another justice?

Brothers and sisters, there is a reason to go on living.

HOWGOZIT, you seem to be overlooking something: Thomas deserved to be run roughshod over. He was the least-qualified justice in the past fifty years, easily, apart from his other problems. He was cynically put forth to replace the giant Thurgood Marshall by Republicans. And actually if you look at the whole hearing, Hill got run over thoroughly, and all sorts of senators defended him because of his “obvious” integrity. So, no, one Biden does not equal twenty GOP senators – especially when Biden was right and the others were wrong! Reality, remember?

Thomas was as silent at the hearings as he has been on the bench. Kinda’ hard to run roughshod over a dude that wasn’t there, and who didn’t make any effort to “defend himself”, he let Specter do it for him.

Howie, In this case, all evidence presented supports Motive, so it’s not “everyone is wrong but me,” it’s “everyone is right but Howie.” If you have any evidence, you could present it. If you don’t, the record stands that motive wins this round.
