Dan Wasserman of The Boston Globe is one of America's most refreshing editorial cartoonists. His visual skits - sharp, sly, humorous and memorable, choreographed in one to six frames - show no mercy.

^^^ Details, details…
(but funnily enough, the cartoonist’s surname translated means “Waterman”)

harley:
1) Their numbers have decreased 22% in the past decade. (http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn17798-polar-bears-run-riot-as-ice-melts.html) If you know otherwise (I’ve seen one quick newspaper article that says otherwise), post a reference.
2) Irrelevant, and I don’t think so anyway. The question is whether warming is taking place: it is.

Truly it is! Our children and grandchildren will pay for our foot dragging. While some of us ignore the greatest danger to mankind, scoffing at facts. A true legacy of neglect, ignorance, greed and pride. What a Kafkaesque inheritance humans leave behind for their offspring. If we don’t make quick strides to lower CO2 emissions our grandchildren might just be toast. So, just to be spiteful, Republicans deny any problem exists. To the demise of their own grandchildren.
