Yes, once AGAIN he proposes a budget, as required, and both sides scream and will kill it, then claim it’s all HIS fault! No negotiation from Boehner or McConnell, just blame Obama, Pelosi, and of course Harry Reid.

Maybe, he needs to get someone that knows how to do a realistic budget?

A “balanced” budget that cuts revenue more than spending?

“Budget” looks like a zombie Reagan.
How come the elephant is holding that symbol of Communism?

Obama produces a budget on April 10 that was legally demanded on February 2…..wow, what competency, Not.
    -
This is Obama’s 5th budget that is so filled with growing government bigger programs and higher taxes and fake “cuts” in the total spending totals that raised the Federal Debt more than $6 trillion in 4 years. No wonder both houses and both political party voters said NO in the congress.
    -
IMO, based on budgets alone, Obama should be impeached for the LIES and misrepresentations in his so-called “budgets”!
And done in the face of government data that is factual when reported by the relevant agencies, but gets twisted and warped by Liberals with an Agenda to spend the US treasury into bankruptcy and support Obama’s wacky policies.

He submitted it late, and the senate took 4 years to pass a budget. The house proposed and passed a budget every year they could. While the Ryan budget may not be ideal, it’s at least a budget. It’s a starting point, and it’s a lot closer to the simpson-bowles budget suggestions than not. Obama’s is just the same old rhetoric, and doesn’t balance the budget at any point in the future. He simply brings the spending levels down to Bush-era levels. At least Bush’s budgets had two wars going, what’s Obama’s excuse?

I blame Obama for not pushing the Senate to pass a Constitutionally-mandated budget every year. I blame Pelosi for the PPACA (because that idiot shrill famously said to pass it to know what’s in it), and I blame Reid for not bringing the House budget to a vote, or passing one of their own. Reid is the most contemptible of all three, because he refused to let a lot of stuff the Republicans passed even see the light of day.

Sure he did. Its the same budget that Ryan had when he was running with Mittens. The only thing he did was change the title.

“While the Ryan budget may not be ideal, it’s at least a budget.”

So they’re supposed to pass it along just because its a budget? What if that budget took away your veteran’s benefits? Would you still agree to pass it?

“He simply brings the spending levels down to Bush-era levels. At least Bush’s budgets had two wars going, what’s Obama’s excuse?”

Bush era spending levels required that any spending towards the war (as well as any other spending) go through emergency funds, which the late Ted Stevens® was very vocal about. And as you know (or in your case don’t) emergency funds don’t show up in the general budget, which is how Bush made those wars appear as if they didn’t cost as much as they did. In layman terms he cooked the books. Obama could do the same thing, but he’s been open about spending and cons like yourself are giving him grief over his transparency.

“I blame Democrats for not passing a budget, gripe, hate, insult….”

Revisionist history at its best. The Democrats allowed the Republicans to voice their proposals on the floor before a vote (Obama Era), whereas the Republicans (Bush Era) didn’t even allow the Dems the same courtesy. Everything that was passed during the Bush Era was passed along party lines (Clear Air Act of 2003 which allowed polluters to police themselves and the Commodity Futures Act of 2000 which caused the financial and housing disasters). If anything the Republicans have blocked and continue to block countless legislation, still continue to block presidential appointees to the point that Judge Roberts had to http://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nation/2013/03/10/obama-senate-collide-gridlock-hits-federal-courts/zQVtUmOSol9sHre7OuX3MP/story.htmlbeg Congress

to confirm judges because of gridlock in the courts, and still continue to play shell games (Tom Colburn and his secret holds for his pork projects) at the expense of the American People. When will you realize that Republicans are not your friends?

Wow. First off, if you’re going to quote me, quote the entire thing. Here’s what I really said:

“While the Ryan budget may not be ideal, it’s at least a budget. It’s a starting point, and it’s a lot closer to the simpson-bowles budget suggestions than not.”

I didn’t say to pass it. I said it was a starting point. Y’know, the point from which you begin something. In this case, most likely a discussion.

So… you’re saying that it’s the Republican’s fault for a budget not getting passed? You do know that it only takes 51 votes to pass a budget in the Senate, right? So … how exactly could Republicans obstruct that, when they at one point had 60 Democrats in the Senate?

Harry Reid has also gone and specifically stated he wouldn’t bring any of the budgets to the floor passed by the Republican House. Why? Because he didn’t want his bloc to go on record so they could get re-elected, or to hurt Obama’s chance of getting re-elected. Why else would they suddenly now start talking about a budget after Obama’s re-election? You don’t find that highly-suspicious?

I don’t find Republicans are my friends. I see them as the party that has ideals closer to mine. I prefer fiscal conservatism. I prefer social moderation. I believe in abstinence instead of abortion. I prefer accountability, not this crap that’s been going on about Benghazi. I want a President that is more focused on staying in Washington and working with Congressional leadership, and less focused on campaigning and trying to “sell” the xyz plan to the American people (or at least those he wants to vote for his idea). I want a president who is willing to figure out a comprehensive solution to address the Nation’s problems, not vilify those who are successful and blame them for the nation’s woe’s.

    Get my point?
