Yes, Summers and the Republicans DO depend on fairy tales for their policies, and “facts”.

Congress talking about polling numbers?
“Mirror mirror on the wall…”

51% approval (Rassmusen) or 50% Huffpost is bad?
This isn’t golf where the low score wins.
Ryan doesn’t have popularity numbers that I can find.

@dtroutma
Funny you should mention that.

Poor Mr Summers is having difficulty hating on the president.

Given you can’t point to any Obama policy that wasn’t a Republican proposal in the last two decades, you’d think the Republicans would love him.

O’s approval rating is falling. Less than 50% now.

Paul Ryan is supposedly a ‘fiscal conservative’. I guess you get to claim that regardless of track record or recent performance?
-
Ryan voted for TWO wars, the Bush tax cuts, Medicare Part D, and the Bush stimulus, NONE of which were paid for.
-
What part of that sounds like fiscal conservation?
-
Ryan’s spiffy new budget continues deficit spending for the next ten years. That means that the national debt will continue to grow for the next ten years.
-
What part of that sounds like fiscal conservation?
-
His budget numbers, such as they are, depend on, among other things, repeal of Obamacare.
-
What part of that sounds like reality?
-
Who takes this guy seriously?

I guess if this were about Republicans, Prince Charming would be attempting to speak Spanish …

And then beat him over the head with the glass slipper and blame it on the Democrats.

Please, please repeal Obamacare. We’re on Medicare, & Obamacare is killing us – perhaps literally! My husband can always fall back on the VA when he’s denied care under Obamacare, but I am stuck. I know what happens in Canada & England, and it’s not pretty. We are headed there. Get ready to be turned away by your doctor &/or the hospital if you are on Medicare. God help us, because Obama will not.

I’d be interested to know specifically what has happened to you so far. Where have you been denied service?

polling numbers? Can somebody let Summers know that Obama doesn’t have to worry about another poll again. Elections for him are over… he won… lets move on.
