Summers is again mistaking Obama for “W”! At least he’s getting us OUT of wars, instead of INTO those costly economic and social disasters.

The scheduling for the withdrawals was initially done by Bush and is being carried through by Obama. It was and is an effort by both Presidents.

Fiscal Responsibility is in the eye of the beholder. Did Roberts remember the words?

A cartoon with a political slant not matching reality, but brace yourselves – here come the trolls…

Neither party is fiscally responsible or we’d not be in the situation we’re in. It is amazing to hear politicians ranting about our financial situation as if they and their predecessors had had nothing to do with lost pensions, ruined bank accounts, foreclosed homes, or any of the myriad things done on behalf of lobbyists and donors to the American people.
Harry S Truman said America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination, and unbeatable determination to do the job at hand
Modern politicians use fear to divide us, and we help them by being insulting and worse to one another.
    Sadly,
    C.

    @Little Green Men

The national debt as of 1/17/2013 was $16,432,631,489,854.70. President reagan nearly tripled the national debt in his eight years adding $1.860 trillion, H.W Bush added another $1.554trillion and baby bush added $4.899 trillion, not to mention the minimum $3 trillion legacy costs of his policies during President Obama’s tenure. But just the debt added during the republican presidents’ terms amounts to $8.313 trillion which my math teacher taught me is over half of $16.433 trillion. So not counting legacy costs the last three republican presidents, in 20 years, are responsible for more debt than all other presidents, in 217 years combined. The last three republican presidents are responsible for 51% of the debt accumulated during the entire American history. And the republicans all of a sudden claim to be fiscally responsible.

Just like the first time there’s nothing about fiscal responsibility. I wonder if O will repeat the first 6 months and spend more than all previous presidents combined, including himself?

Will his next executive order be to outlaw marriage between a man and woman? What example is this to his kids?

Your stupidity and ignorance levels have reached truly historic proportions!

Even preacher Mike Huckabee has stated that from a family prospective, President Obama is one of the best examples we have ever seen.

Where do you get off making up such BS lies???

Did a lot of channel surfing during the inauguration. All of the news channels reported on everything Obama did. Faux News reported on everything Obama did wrong.

^you are an extremely intelligent and cogent poster here. I really enjoy your posts. can you not see that certain posters here are narccissistic sociopaths and make every single comic and thread about themselves.

When you respond out of frustration to these narccissistic sociopaths you are enabling them AND you are making the comics and threads about them.
may i suggest a different course of action?

I know i rarely get involved in your comments but I think you have lost touch with reality here. Years ago I was very conservative. Then I got frustrated with the republicans on social issues, principally because when I really talked to women about abortion, gay friends about marriage and relationships, the lack of “trade” schools funding and the enormous waste of life and money we sponsor with our military I came to the conclusion that they were out of touch with the country. Long story short I ended up becoming a Libertarian. It made sense to me. It’s pretty obvious to me that they are still suffering this social disconnect to the point that they can’t even be united in their own party issues.

I realize your stated purpose here is to spin people up and you do that well. I do wish you would post on a little more of a factual level to complement your perchance for aggressive communication.

Oh yes, Mr. Ima, Obama provides the most important example to his children by maintaining a strong healthy relationship with his wife and family. From all accounts he is an exceptional husband and father…

The election was won by fear, though as a whole your right.
