    Project Gunrunner began under the Bush Administration in 2005. It then became Operation Wide Receiver, and shortly after Holder took his position in the Obama administration, it was named Operation Fast and Furious. Holder was working on a number of other priorities and the men in charge of the operation did not go out of their way to give him full details until the death of Brian Terry, an ATF officer.
    The cartoon is misleading and gratuitous, another example of preaching to a choir of like minds.

    um no those where two very different cases. In fact the 1st was deemed a fail. The 2nd was told not to do it. But hey we need a good gun blood bath that has the border involved.

    Sad as the Terry incident might have been, the “pro-enforcement”/ “Anti-immigrant” and "pro-gun crowd ignore the incident of the Border Patrol agent killed a short time later, BY HIS PARTNER, in a “friendly fire” incident.

    The same could be said about those who are mooching off the system. The difference is the “militias” are frequently productive members of society, since firearms are so expensive, as is ammo.
