F-35 is over a trillion in potential savings, as well as several other “defense” projects that DO NOT WORK, and exceed the amount of savings Obama predicts over 10 years, and many times more than the revenue Boehner’s deductions elimination would bring.

The libs just don’t get it, cut expenses is far more effective than stealing from everyone.

The F-35 is a great success. Dem Libs whine over any weapons system. Look at the M-1 tank, B-2 and Apache helicopter and the Dem Lib comments when they were coming on line. All are great successes. Costs? Dem Libs love to include Development, production, deployment, maintenance over projected life span and present it as a front end cost. Shame they never do that for social freebee programs. Check out the reality, all be it with a sales pitch included but a little further research will tell you the true story. https://f35.com/the-f-35/faqs.aspx There are many negative reports on the web, take the time to check who they are and what they do.

after 9-11 the country was astounded. for the first time in our history, we went to war WITHOUT:shared sacrifice, rationing, recycling and higher taxes.

bush told us to go shopping. spend money. Now the ‘conservatives’ are blaming his successor with cleaning up the mess.

    that’s some reality warp.

Ok, let’s! Here’s how we’re going to do it. We’re going to sell our Escalade (weapons system) and we’re going to use the proceeds to buy a smaller, fuel efficient car. We’ll save on the payments too. Then we’ll go and spend on buying a business that generates revenue for us!
    .
There, we spent our way out of a recession!

Oh please, Mr. Leftist, pay attention. You could start with the bipartisan Eskine-Bowles recommendations, which Obozo spat on.
Conservatives have made plenty of recommendations of cost cutting, all of which have been ignored by the lefty-loons in the Senate.
