    He did end the one, bitterly criticized for doing so by Republicans and Fox, and is in the process of ending the other.

    I think it was Mr. Romney and Mr. “Bomb, bomb, bomb. Bomb, bomb Iran” McCain who were hellbent for war.

    Now, let’s think back to Ruby Ridge and Waco. “He killed his own people!” Would we be happy to have some foreign army take us over and stay for as long as we pleased, taking our citizens halfway around the world to put into prison without ever pretending to have trials for them?

    Will we ever be willing to look in the mirror and see ourselves as we really are?

    Tigger, what I find most annoying about your comment is that if Obama had already replied militarily, you would have been attacking him for his aggression. You, Ima, and others give this man no credit whatsoever. Assad is doomed. Even the Russians and Chinese are turning on him. The hazard to us now is that chemical weapons in Syria’s arsenal may end up being smuggled out of the country and used against us.
    I’m sure you and your ilk will blame such an event on liberals, and independents alike. After all, if you aren’t a real conservative, you aren’t a real american..right?

    As Syria is a well armed threat to Israel it is in the advantage of the US and Israel to let Syria weaken itself.
