Efforts at “civility” from Lehrer and Obama as opposed to the “dittohead effect” of a Limbaugh, fact absent, rant.

the “Stormin’ Mormon” was the most “Presidential”, the most “civil” and the moderator’s problem was not Romney, it was the President doing filibusters instead of agreed-upon 2-minute answers.
…Romney had facts and tried to rebut Obama’s lies about the Romney Plan but 3 times Obama took time to repeat the lie about $5 trillion increased taxes…..Romney had to respond and he did it with politeness Obama did not deserve, considering all the ads Obama ran with all sorts of lies and character assassination against Romney!

I suggest “time up” GONGS for debate #2 and #3….

No way, Mittens is a lying fool.

Mittens like a monkey on steroids steamrolled the moderator too.

What has Obama said in his campaign that HASN’T been a lie? At least his running-mate has been honest the past few days, such as his saying that the middle class has been “buried for the past four years,” and that they plan to raise taxes by a trillion dollars. “Sheriff Joe” is the gaffe that keeps on giving.

It’s more accurate that Romney came prepared to discuss Obama’s failures, and how he would turn things around, and Obama was so arrogant that he thought that all he had to do was show up.

If I were a million-dollar contributor to this clown, I’d be PISSED right now at his empty, flailing attempts to recall all of his miserable campaign lines. It’s pretty pathetic that after his listless, empty performance last night that he followed it up with appeals for even MORE money. At least some of his fawning sycophants (like Chrissy Matthews) are mad as hell. If he only shows up for the next debate, then I’d suppose that Matthews won’t be filling the “thrill” up his leg anytime soon.

I guess Mitt did come off sounding “presidential” in the debate: Vladimir Putin, Mussolini, Idi Amin, among others.

AS IF! (and no, I’m not a Democrat.)
You’re forgetting one tiny fact, boy: Just who was it who opened the White House to the Web, has several Twitter & Facebook accounts, just so the People can tell him what they think of him, no matter good or bad?
    Obama!
….and what about the two free trips to the White House (even air fare was paid for) at his invite? Obama!
I do not think Romney will be so open about his Presidency as Obama has been these past four years, and he’ll lose out because of it. But that’s assuming that Romney will win the Election in the first place.
    -——————————————————————————
p.s: I would have gone to the first “dinner” (the one for his Birthday), but since my Dad was born one day and several years before Obama, Family comes before politics.

The problem was Obama was waiting for the media and Lehrer to step in and take over because he forgot this was a debate and that Romney was going to be given the chance to call Obama on his mis-leading information. It must be hard for him to stand up against Romney alone. I am looking forward to the next debate to see how Obama changes his tone in the Debate, it should be much better.

I agree, I believed God was there and that prayers for the truth to be heard were answered.

Yeah, Obama was calm and Presidential, while Mitt was yelling his lies from the mountain top. According to the media, that means Mitt won.

More of the same. Still won’t admit your hero is an abject failure.

Did you see a second chair that I missed as Lerher was the only one of the three to have a seat? No, I believe in prayer, which in my opinion helped Romney to get out the truth of his plans without the media and left along with Obama almost silent on many things misconstruing the words and numbers.
