   That’s why we’ve managed to go four years without a new war! (assasinations… Drone strikes…. but no boots on the ground war!) As I think back… Well Bush did manage to go six years without a new war, but that’s only because he had two.

   Clinton was in a war in Somalia as Bush built cover for his pardoning of the Iran Contra criminals. Then he had Bosnia, but we did that with non lethal bombings of the infrastructure. But still, two confrontations under Clinton. Bush Iraq. Reagan Panama and Granada. Carter kept us out of war (which was good because the military wasn’t ready)Nixon expanded into Loas and Cambodia, not to mention Kent State.

   Yeah, four years with no new military adventure! That’s not so common!

   Having a guy with a cool head who isn’t out there looking for a fight is a good thing!

   the “Stormin’ Mormon” was the most “Presidential”, the most “civil” and the moderator’s problem was not Romney, it was the President doing filibusters instead of agreed-upon 2-minute answers.
   …Romney had facts and tried to rebut Obama’s lies about the Romney Plan but 3 times Obama took time to repeat the lie about $5 trillion increased taxes…..Romney had to respond and he did it with politeness Obama did not deserve, considering all the ads Obama ran with all sorts of lies and character assassination against Romney!

   I guess he was tired. I would be after four years of this kind of mistreatment by my enemies, the public and even my friends. NOW would be a great time to show some support from the HuffPo-crowd, Occupy and the rest. NOW would be the time for all registered Dems to write, blog, e-mail or smoke-sign to the president that they are behind him. But I guess that’s not possible, I guess the Dems are just too weak, tired and disgruntled and are willing to have Mitt as president. Right?

    What has Obama said in his campaign that HASN’T been a lie? At least his running-mate has been honest the past few days, such as his saying that the middle class has been “buried for the past four years,” and that they plan to raise taxes by a trillion dollars. “Sheriff Joe” is the gaffe that keeps on giving.

    It’s more accurate that Romney came prepared to discuss Obama’s failures, and how he would turn things around, and Obama was so arrogant that he thought that all he had to do was show up.

    If I were a million-dollar contributor to this clown, I’d be PISSED right now at his empty, flailing attempts to recall all of his miserable campaign lines. It’s pretty pathetic that after his listless, empty performance last night that he followed it up with appeals for even MORE money. At least some of his fawning sycophants (like Chrissy Matthews) are mad as hell. If he only shows up for the next debate, then I’d suppose that Matthews won’t be filling the “thrill” up his leg anytime soon.
