The ad is a LIE - Tim Tebow’s mother was a missionary in the Phillipines during her preganancy - late stage illness. Abortion has always been ILLEGAL in the Phillipines …. she claims she had a choice to abort her child. She is a hypocritical liar. Just like all the rest of the far right - murder the abortion Dr. to save the babies.
Hmmmm … how very CHRIST Like of y’all!!!!

“No real man would be offended by a pro-life ad.”
Because only you are the top authority on what a real man is. Drop the machismo act, it’s getting boring.

spicecakes How do you presume what Tim Tebow’s mother and HER doctor discussed? You are a tad out of line calling her a hypocritical liar. Having said that, no matter your obviously over the top viceral reaction, Tim Tebow is alive today to say what he thinks.
amen ilikea.

The one that gets me is interstate batteries! Have you seen this one about “More of God’s love”?
It’s not that the message offends me it’s that this company thinks that it needs to preach to me.
It’s also that some people will buy a battery based on the religious persuasion of the company. If I worked at Interstate I’d be afraid for my job if I didn’t show up in the right church at the right time, and that’s bothersome too!
So is it God’s love that inspires some to use an interstate battery to grill some muslim’s gonads in an effort to find out how much gas station money is going to support the enemy?

PETA ads offend me, but they are everywhere and I deal with it. I don’t agree with the pro-life side of things just like I don’t agree with PETA, that doesn’t mean they don’t have the right to advertise. Especially when they are paying for it and the company is willing and ready to air it. At least pro-life is upfront about what they believe and what they do. PETA cannot say the same.

Ratheon, Lockheed/Martin, Boeing, Xi, and a few other “defense” contractors should advertise as “pro-life” and in favor of birth control. Convoluted logic is sooo super bowl.

vexatron 1984: “Especially when they are paying for it and the company is willing and ready to air it.”
The problem is that the “company” is making decisions about what it will and will not air. Summers could have just as easily made “Gay Dating Service” as the punchline of his cartoon. There was a gay dating service who had the funds to pay for a SB ad, but CBS decided against it. For those who understand a thing or two about diversity, gay populations are no more outside the mainstream than rapid pro-lifers. I agree that a company or organization who has the funds for a SB ad should have the right to have their message heard (whether I agree with it or not), but that means the broadcasting company should not be highly selective in the ads that it chooses.

If Barbara Bush had an abortion we would not have D-legendary one. Have you ever considered that Barbara Bush might be the anti-Christ? Married one bad president, gave birth to another. Nostrodamus said the anti-christ was Mabus, Ma Bush. Then when you consider she might be the daughter of Alister Crowley it all begins to make sense. http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/2006/04/george-w-bush-barbara-bush-and.html
