Grosse Point Blank, is still one of my favorites. Though I can watch The Quiet Man time after time.

a clockwork orange. was watching it with my girlfriend on the university quad and a very drunk guy sitting next to us kept trying to ply me, not my gf, with tequila. she was laughing so hard after a while that we just gave up on trying to see the movie…

“The Princess Bride” and “A Knight’s Tale.” Some of the best movie lines ever.

2001 A Space Odyssey: Our class was given the afternoon off to go see the movie. One kid picked up a kitten and sat through the movie with it. I was enjoying the kitten and the movie.

I was a big James Bond fan as a kid, and my mom took me to see Goldfinger as a special treat. I’m glad the theater was dark, as I must have blushed furiously, sitting next to my mom, when Pussy Galore introduced herself. As an adult, I took her to see Boogie Nights, and we got through that as well.

“The Sound of Music”. I rememb when my sister took me to see this when I was a kid (9), and I was still in the “if-it’s-not-a-cartoon-it-stinks” mentality (this was 1965), and I thought I was going to hate this film, but — surprise, surprise — that turned out not to be the case. I ended up being grateful that my sister brought me.
