Got any really helpful ‘supervisors’ in your life?

My mom and dad, even though they’re not with us any more. I did listen, although as a typical teenager I tried not to show it.

Actually, several of my superiors at my current job will jump right in assisting people with questions, getting on a register if need be, and redirecting complaints to the proper department, rather than have them stew in line getting angrier and angrier as they waited. All of my other jobs previous to this one: fuhgedaahud it. Locker searches, out-loud group announcements of who did not about who make sales goals for the last week, backhanded compliments (“X” and “Y” cleaned up the company walkway, but that should be handled by the custodial department (who were usually watching videos [non-porn: they may be lazy, but not stupid] in the boiler room in the basemen’’’, often watching videos with the aforementioned custodial department, or pointing out “that paper needs to be picked up”. Yes, I like my current job.

My cat likes to keep me in rein. He’s a hard task master.

He might think he’s being helpful.

Yes, my husband. He’ll see me doing something and he’ll come tell me how to do it. I think he’s learning after all these years, though, to keep his trap shut.

No, completely self supervised now. How else would I spend so much time at GoComics?

I’m usually the helpful supervisor. I point out the humor in those circumstances. There are those that don’t appreciate my sense of humor though.

I have the ultimate helpful supervisor, my kid. I know when and where I’m screwing up by his behavior. The most honest mirror I’ve ever had.

I see the problem, too. That stuff has twigs mixed in with it.

My dog loves helping with the yard work. It’s great fun to chase her around after she’s stolen the tool I need.

My husband stands behind me when I’m on the computer and tells me how to do what I already know how to do. Also, I will stand around while he does projects for me and tell him how I want it done. I might say, “Aren’t you glad you have me to help you?” To me this is funny.
