Daddy’s Home is a contemporary, family comic with an emphasis on the role of the modern father. No other cartoon feature examines domesticity from this uniquely male perspective, while remaining universally appealing to both genders. Through the eyes of a stay-at-home-dad, Daddy’s Home casts a unique light on everyday situations. With biting sarcasm and sharp wit, Peter and a cast of supporting characters, navigate the turbulent waters of modern family life.

how come they did not predict the doom of their empire?

Let’s not get too cocky. Maybe the end of the world is Pacific time.

It’s still yesterday in some parts of the world and tomorrow in others

If they hadnt been wiped out, they would have produced a new cyclical calendar by now…

I read somewhere that they produced other calendars that went well into the future – but I forget where I read it!
The whole thing has been fun though!

How come the end of the world has to come on Friday? Why not Monday before a big meeting?

True, but they ran out of room on the stone they were carving, and maybe Ratbrat is correct. I WOULD go to daughter’s party if it were closer or if I were not going there in 2 more days for a longer visit.

Well, if it really IS Decmber 21, 2012, remember that a day is 24 hours. Anyway, back in the 12th century, therre was a German rabbi named Judah Ben Samuel who predicted many things, and he was very well known, and many of his predictions came to pass. Even cardinals and bishops went to him for his insight. His prediction was 2017, starting in the Middle East—Megiddo, Revelations, Islam, Jews—that seems much more plausible, so be on your guard. My interpretation of the “Mayan Prophecy” was perhaps the end of the world as we KNOW it, meaning there was going to be SOME kind of major change—economic, social, biblical, or something. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Central time zone ends in AZ. It would be Pacific. Mountain time zone is farther north.

the 21st is the last DAY, therefore we have to wait until this DAY ends… and I agree we’d have to go based off of the Mayan’s supposed timezone as they would’ve used the star alignment as they saw it to determine time
