I have three vehicles: a smart car, a scooter and a bicycle. But we use a lot of energy with three computers and all of our rechargeable electronics, so it could definitely be better. Oh, and we have three window air-conditioners for the summer.

I bought an 01 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L recently that started out getting 28MPG. It now runs between 35 and 38 after a little tweeking and on regular gas. So mine’s a little smaller.

I bought a Chevy Cruze Eco. I average about 35. But if I ever get out of the city that number will improve. Want to work on my ’02 Cavalier? I average 27 – 29 on it.

I recycle paper and plastic at home, but I have big feet and I also drive a big 4×4 truck. My hubby aNd I own an auto salvage business and we recycle all the old cars nobody wants anymore. I think I balance out in the end.

Quite light, actually. Have recycled and been using energy efficient light bulbs for several years now. Replaced all major appliances with Energy Star appliances in the past 3 years. I’m getting nearly twice the gas mileage I was since buying my new car (32 city/36 hwy). And hopefully, by this time next year my home will be predominantly solar. My electric bill is usually quite low now, except in summer, so I’m hoping to be selling back to the power company most months to recupe the difference, along with lowering those summer energy bills.
