    I live next to an elementary school, and you would blush at some of the things kids say when they think adults aren’t listening. I have heard more that one older boy, (fourth or fifth grade,) tell a younger girl that he was going to “Creampie” her. (Usually said affectionately rather than in anger.) Google: Creampie verb.

    Well be careful there, Petey. The oboists’ section might be right in front of the trombones!

    Ernesto is way cool!
    I’m not sure about Peter’s (Petey’s) suggested alternative, though; wouldn’t a cream pie kinda slip off the slide?

    I didn’t picture Ernesto as someone who would engage in such hijinks. Or maybe he thinks it will actually improve the music.

    Why would you puut a toilet plunger on a trombone?

    I should suppose for the way-coolness of it.

    No s**t. As I read your reply, I remember now that the band I was in as a Youngling offered wooden dowels and leather laces to tie onto trombone slides, so the young players with short arms could hit all the notes. I suppose it’s possible that Sphinx did it for the same reason.

    My guess would be that he picked up the word from a teenaged brother. They’re the main customers for online porn.

    @Agingstoner

    For a couple of years the word has become as common as MF on the playground. It may have come from online porn, I hope not from the kids personal experiences in the tubes.

    On the other hand shortly after school started this year I picked a copy of a book titled “Alice in Wonderf—-ers Land.” out of my lawn that shocked me more than I have been shocked in a long time.

    It may be the Plugger in me, but I am becoming frightened by what is happening to our children today. (Not that I didn’t escape playing my share of doctor games as a kid.)
