    It’s like eating Oreos with out the creamy center.

    Yeah, I’d be sad too if I was that age.

    Ohh; that’s awful! Yes, by all means, the rocking chair of comfort! Poor Alice. And too sad for the other Blisshaven kids, too. This is a disaster!

    Give the plastic wrapping a good licking.

    I’d be after the plastic wrap! It’s temporarily become a desirable commodity!

    I am sad. Here I spring a tear for a fictional cartoon character. A sad case I am indeed…

    Just shows you’re human, JohnDF. Much better than the “It’s just a comic” gang.

    A Halloween tragedy, Poor Alice.

    Toothpicks, Alice! Toothpicks in each cupcake to hold up the plastic wrap! Better yet, tell Mom she really must invest in a Rubbermaid or Tupperware cupcake container.

    @Gokie5

    I agree with Gokie5, along with a few others – empathizing with a cartoon character shows you’re human. I was and am so connected to the “Peanuts” characters that I cried when I learned Charles Schulz had died! Comics were and are a big force in my life, and “Cul de Sac” is, to me and many others, the Peanuts of a new generation. :)

    @lmonteros

    I did that, invested in a fancy multi level cupcake carrier, and then my kid’s school banned all homemade treats (“they might have peanut contamination”)
