Beni: The cow noisemaker made Dill cry? Kevin: Well, it's got a mournful sound. Girl: A lonesome quality. Alice: You know what makes me cry? The bowl of mush in "Goodnight Moon" Boy: Are they trying to depress us?
I like that Mrs. Bliss isn’t questioning Dill or insisting on knowing why he is sad. Instead she just accept that he is and plops him down to comfort him without trying to force or fix the issue.
