Hey, Alice may be wearing the outfit her mother got her at a church sale, but Petey is NOT wearing the very bright green necktie his mother got him! (Just don’t imagine the audience in their underwear, Petey, like your mother suggested a while ago; it was too horrifying for you to ease your nervousness.)

I sorta kinda feel like Mr. Peter Otterloop: what will happen, will happen, and nothing can stop it now!

Indeed it will, Mr. Otterloop, indeed it will.

So the Otterloop vehicle is a van? I could have sworn that it was a Mini.

A real mom would have made him an invisible cape.

I suspect it’s an artistically flexible vehicle.

Mom’s car is a van, Dad’s is a Tonka toy.

    It’s actually a “caping” mechanism.

Just get through it, Petey. You can block it out later.

Forced perspective. The camera is very close to the car.
