    I had marshmallows today, but they were in a Watergate salad.

    I’m sure the marshmallows were salvaged from the wreckage.

    Water balloons are so much more satisfying for that purpose.

    Bupf! Is this the only time we’ve actually seen one of Dill’s brothers (I assume the long-haired hippy freak in panel 2 is one of the trebuchetting brothers)? Bupf!

    @Sisyphos

    I love all of Richard’s ‘sound effects’ so very much.

    Looks more like a kickball until the last panel where it is flattened out a bit.

    In the last panel, Dill’s ?ball looks a lot like a seriously expired Halloween pumpkin that I threw on the ground once. Only it didn’t go “bupf” – only a very quiet “splat.”

    Quite a thrill to finally see one of Dill’s brothers. {Excuse split infinitive.]

    Not enough clearance for the ballast to swing through!

    This is the closest we will ever see on of his brothers if that is indeed one of them in P2.

    I presume his brothers built a bonfire from the remains and roasted the marshmallows…
