    Poor Dill! I’m sure he’s not had much experience at this sort of demanding social occasion. He’s only four years old! Alice can be a big comfort to him if she wants to be nice and not mean….

    I wonder if Dill has a Mom? I don’t remember her ever being mentioned. It’s Moms who are supposed to coordinate birthday parties. Also, that would explain Dill’s brothers.
