Alice: Watch me hit it! Oops. Watch me hit it! Oops. Watch me hit it again! Dad: Hurry up, Alice, people are lining up behind us. Mom: Daddy's cranky because his head got too much sun today. Petey: This hold would be more interesting if it had a windmill, a lave pit and a giant robot with a baseball bat. Dad: I'm not cranky. Hurry up Alice! Alice: Watch me hit it now! Petey: Mini golf is the only sport I like!
This all reminds me of baby Plucky Duck of “Tiny Toons Adventures” playing miniature golf with his father. Hits a little, then says “I darn it, I missed” over and over (until he makes Dad look into the sky for a helicopter and throws the ball farther).
