Richard Thompson's Cul de Sac, is a comic strip about the life of a pre-school girl named Alice Otterloop. It is a light-hearted comic strip centered around a four-year old girl and her suburban life experiences on a cul-de-sac with her friends Beni and Dill, older brother Petey and her classmates at Blisshaven Academy pre-school. Alice describes her father's car as a "Honda-Tonka Cuisinart" and talks to the class guinea pig, Mr. Danders. She has the typical older brother who plays jokes on her, and she contemplates ways to keep the scary clown from jumping out of the jack-in-the-box with friends.

You just can’t trust that giant, living Jungle Gym. Poor Dill, you’re lucky you didn’t starve to death in there!

FA seems to be missing this morning … the FA avatar isn’t even in my line up. It’s 8:27am here on the East coast … do you see it?

That looks like something from Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

I hate to be such an engineer, but…
I don’t think Dill would have the momentum needed to get going in the first panel.

Nope.
Frog Blog hasn’t been updated either. I usually look at the comics about 3 a.m Eastern time and if FA isn’t up by then it may be very late before it is.
Funny, but a poster commented the other day how long it has been since the Powers That Be have made things difficult for Ms. T.
I prefer to think that the simply stunning Ms. T is just getting her beauty sleep.

I think that contraption is the best way to show the passage of time since we last saw Richard. It is also a device that I remember in one of the first Cul de Sacs I read when I discovered it (that and the marvelous toilet plumbing in the school). Welcome back! (if indeed you are!)
