Miss Bliss is nothing if not agile-minded. I guess being around the young’uns keeps her on her game!

Let’s see, should I teach the 5 year olds the French Revolution or the Back Plague today? Perhaps the book of Revelations? Is the school psychologist in today?

Lewreader, the “Back Plague”? That must be a play about the backpacks the kids have to carry around at school.

Anyone remember the Mad Magazine French Revolution parody to the tune of “Take me out to the Ball Game”…?

“… we’ll have the best revolution yet. We’ll kill the king and Marie Antoinette. So let’s root, root, root for the Headsman He’s got a blade that is keen And it’s off! Off! Off with their heads at the Guillotine!”

And there is the character in the Tick cartoons who had a hand puppet who was always disagreeing with him..

A favorite line went something like:

“where’s the Tick?” The puppet says -“he is in his tent, sulking like Achilles.”

“like a man from Chile?” The puppet shouts in response- “read a book!
