   Barry, I presume you mean the drive-by ads posted IN the comments section by greedy opportunists with limited English skills. That’s what the “Flag” feature is for. If you spot one of those, click on the Flag underneath it, and the staff at GoComics will probably remove it.

   But the ads at the top, left, and right of the strip are created by marketing professionals and paid for by companies who want to catch your attention legitimately. Their presence ensures that you don’t have to pay your own personal money to read this strip. Cut ‘em some slack.

    RichardSRussell: Good calls. What about the pop-ups? They’re a curse too. I’ll never patronize a company that uses them. That’s why I’ll never use Netflix. Wish I could flag them.
