    So… this is the strip where Cow & Boy switched to the tangential universe in which they start the strip by discussing some somewhat deep (for a comic strip) philosophical matter, and end it with some sarcastic / ironic / just plain mean gag.
     
    That certainly sets C&B apart, but it makes it harder for the occasional reader to get engaged with the strip. And that probably contributed to C&B not getting the recognition it deserves. Too bad.

    With every decision made a universe is split off. So the multiplication of universes isn’t infinite but so large it might as well be.
