“Cow & Boy Classics” chronicles the ongoing adventures of Billy and Cow. The duo spend endless days pondering life’s big questions, all the while dodging cat-copters, runaway tractors, and any other oddity aimed their way. “Cow & Boy Classics” is clever, heartfelt, and hysterically strange, sometimes all at once.

It’s good to see that Mark is putting a humorous twist on what must be a very tough situation for him.

How many more strips has he got to go?

He’s got a point though. The tired old retreads like Marmaduke and Peanuts will stay until the bitter end which will only be hastened by the fact that there won’t be any newer, fresher comics to help draw people to buy a newspaper.

Be careful Cow. The drooling makes you look rabid.

How you doing in the pledge dept. Mark? I hope you got my e-mail of support. Please keep us updated on the situation.

Drooling is a natural look for cows – especially when they’re chewing their cuds.

Actually, I’d rather see Cow and Boy (even the Marmadook version) than that insipid Marmaduke.

Beetle Bailey, Family Circus (UGH!) Marmaduke, Luann (is anyone in that strip EVER happy??), comics that haven’t been in production for decades but still show up everwhere. God, they’re like a foot fungus. Easy to get and impossible to rid yourself of.

NOT A RETREAD! Wikipedia: Marmaduke is a newspaper comic strip drawn by Brad Anderson from 1954 to the present day. The strip was created by Anderson, with help from Phil Leeming (1955–1962) and later Dorothy Leeming (1963–1969), and (since August 2, 2004) Paul Anderson.

Luann is in reruns at the moment, but is still running new stuff.

I have to wonder how much he gets from gocomics, I mean, they have even more ads than the print papers (who are all getting desperate) and that’s saying something!!
