How do you react when you're cornered? Talk your way out, prepare for battle or insist you're just fine and dandy? Mike Baldwin's "Cornered" characters reflect the full spectrum of these reactions - all the while doing their very best to be taken seriously. From dark to light to blindingly brilliant, the results delight, amuse or even confuse - but it's well worth the risk. No one's ever lost an eye reading "Cornered" (aside from one reader who got WAAAY too close - you know who you are). In the end it's discovering the inconvenient truth of being "Cornered" that sets you free.

My girl says you can tell by the size of the hands. Where did she learn this?

I don’t get it either.
Does anyone have a non-lame explanation?

@jtpozenel - Think about the “male enhancement product” spam you get. Then think about how that “bigger is better” philosophy might apply in Heaven.
In unrelated news, in yesterday’s Argyle Sweater, you were asking me how TinyURL works.
The short version is that it’s a database application. For a more complete explanation, take a look at this Wikipedia article.

You know what they say about angels with big wings… and what else might be bigger than average… nudge nudge, wink wink!

jtp: You can also drag the “TinyURL” link up to your browser - on my Firefox, it sits next to “Latest Headlines”.

Are they impressed with your wings?

CoBass:
Thanks for that TinyUrl explanation. I would never have expected to find it on Wikipedia, but their explanation is pretty simple. It’s a little disconcerting though that the scheme relies on the integrity of their database and server. At least now I know it’s not magic.
